Best food:
The Hostel in the forest served up a delicious communal meal while we were there. Plus, we all held hands and told everyone what we were grateful for before we ate coconut rice, edamame hummus, and cauliflower curry. Yum!
Best view:
Tybee Island was so peaceful. We got to spend a gorgeous day on the beach looking out at the waves. We saw pelicans, dolphins, a hermit crab, jellyfish, and a horseshoe crab while relaxing in the sun. What a great day!
Best accident:
We stopped off to see the childhood home of Ray Charles. This week, it was our only accident!
Biggest culture shock:
Again, Ray Charles wins. But, this time, not in a good way. Ray Charles' childhood home was in a very, very poor, rural area in Florida. We have never seen anything like it, and it was a huge shock to see people living in such a different way.
Best overall:
Time spent with family and friends in Florida. You just can't beat good food, good friends, and good times.
Oh, and plus, we're really good at taking pictures and looking at the camera...
